Market Comments and Concern
Soybean Meal
With the intensify concern on the bad weather in South America, the overnight US soybean price was closed slightly higher. The excessive rainfall may lead to a delay in Brazil soybean harvest and affect the exportation. However, the perspective of soybean yield in South America restricted the recovery of US soybean price, thus the price may remain fiercely fluctuating.
In China, the prompt soybean meal price continued going weak since the poultry and livestock on hand was low because of ASF after Chinese New Year and the soybean meal inventory was increasing for the oil plants resumed operation. It is predicted that soybean meal price will most probably remain weak.
