Market Comments and Concern
Corn/Maize
Today corn price went slightly higher. It is said the government may specially distribute around 20 million tons of paddy and wheat in total to alcohol deep processing companies in May. In April the feed corn volume will keep increasing in China, and the inventory at farmers’ and traders’ sites will continue reducing. Therefore, corn price may stop dropping and bounce back in the second half of April. Most probably the monthly average price will fall down compared with the previous month.
