Market Comments and Concern
Soybean Meal
The overnight future US soybean price was closed lower as the long positions dumped after making profit from the recent price rise. As a result, the future soybean meal price in Dalian market fell down quickly. The oil plants are still willing to back the price as it is projected that the volume to arrive at Chine ports in February and March is relatively less and the plant operation will be suspended during the Spring Festival holiday. However, the price dropped slightly again today since the trading volume is greatly decreased while the stocking is going to end. With the US soybean mark and China prompt soybean meal price are fluctuating fiercely, continuous attention shall be paid to the weather status and market information from all aspects.
