Market Comments and Concern
Soybean Meal
Though the soybean yield is a little higher than the expectation, the future US soybean price increased slightly because of the expectation on tight supply caused by bad weather in South America.
In China, the prompt soybean meal price is fluctuating with slight drop under weak demand and high cost, as the breeding is yet started and the ASF resumes. At present, as the panic on domestic commodity market is shifting to soybean meal, it is not easy to get buying demand. Therefore the soybean meal price will remain modest dropping in a short term under the downward trend and high US soybean cost.
