Market Comments and Concern
Corn/Maize
Corn price went higher in some areas today. The recent snow and rain in different places has affected corn distribution. As a result, some corn consumers slightly increased the procurement price. The feed corn volume will keep increasing in April and the inventory will continue reducing. Meanwhile, with the rise of imported corn and alternative grain volume, it it estimated that corn price will keep weak in the first half of April, while the price may bounce back in the second half. The monthly average price may drop moderately, compared with the previous month.
