Market Comments and Concern
Peruvian Steam Dried Fish Meal
Inspired by the improved pre-sale market, the fish meal price in foreign market increased 20.00 USD per ton to 1,720.00 USD per ton. Total fishing volume in Central and North Peru from 23rd of April to 5th of May is around 568,218.00 ton, completing 22.65% of the total quota. The Peruvian steam dried fish meal price in China market is around 11,400.00-11,500.00 RMB per ton with a rise of 100.00 RMB per ton. Currently the traders are mainly watching for the continuously increasing stock at ports and the slowing delivery. Generally, in a short term fish meal price will be vibrating in a limited range. In the coming days attention shall be paid to the fishing progress in Peru and the resumption of fish meal demand in China.
